Sisters and Houston-area natives, Mary Hammer and Betsy Lee have been performing a wide variety of genres since they were each old enough to hold a mic.
In venues spanning from the Heart of Texas to the Gulf of Mexico, these sisters have long been singing from a catalog of folk, Americana, and country-western staples with the instrumental and vocal accompaniment of their father, Greg English and Billy Johnson on the bass.
Their passion and chemistry are unmistakable in the fine-tuned sisterly harmonies, poetry, and diverse musical roots of their original tunes which they are showcasing as Mermaid Junction.
